orthoXin® ST

Orthodontic Resin, Autopolymer

Acrylic resin for the fabrication of orthodontic appliances. The material has been specially developed for use with the salt-and-pepper technique, but is also conditionally suitable for use with the doughing technique.

Indications

  • Fabrication of orthodontic appliances using the salt-and-pepper technique
  • Fabrication of orthodontic appliances using the doughing technique

Product features

  • easy processing
  • very good flowability
  • comfortable processing phase
  • Cadmium free
  • free from phthalate plasticizers
  • evaluated and certified biocompatibility

Mixing ratio:
10g of powder with 5g of liquid (when using the doughing technique)

Processing times:
Swelling phase: approx. 30 sec
Beginning of the plastic phase: after approx. 3 - 3,5 min
End of the plastic phase: after approx. 10 - 15 min

Polymerization:
The polymerization is carried out under a pressure of 2-3 bar and a water temperature of 40°C for about 10 minutes.

Colors:
The material itself is colorless, but may be customized using already colored monomers (orthoXin® color) or special color concentrates (orthoXin® intense).

Delivery forms:
Powder: 1.000g, 5.000g, 10kg, 25kg
